Fr Chad Boulton OSB
En-suite £375.00 / Standard £345.00

This retreat is now fully booked. However, we have another 'Where the Saints Have Trod' Retreat in October with some spaces still available. Find out more about this here.

Alternatively, you can fill in the below enquiry form to join the waiting list.

A walking retreat, with three pilgrimages to the holy sites of Yorkshire, sauntering with the saints. First day a coastal walk, along Bempton cliffs, with their puffins and gannets, round Flamborough Head to the shrine of the fourteenth century saint, John of Bridlington.

On the second day, a walk over the moors to Egton Bridge, the birth place of the seventeenth century martyr Blessed Nicholas Postgate, and then on the third day a walk to the restored medieval Lady Chapel at Osmotherley, then down to the ruins of the fourteenth century Carthusian Priory at Mt Grace.

Each day we will begin the morning with prayer, depart on our trips after Mass, fill the day with walking, stops for prayer, song and a picnic lunch, and return to the Abbey for Vespers and a convivial evening reflection. The walks are for those able and willing to take on four to five hours, eight to ten miles, up hill and down dale.

Full board and light refreshments are included.
