We're pleased to bring you an exciting update on the refurbishment of Alban Roe House. The building has been undergoing a major refurbishment since March 2022, thanks to a generous donation.
Alban Roe House is where you will find our Visitor Experience, Tea Room, Abbey Shop, and new Exhibition and Conferencing Facilities. It is also where we will host School Groups. The upper floors feature comfortable, modern accommodation for guests and groups.
Architectural Consultant, Keith Hardcastle, recently took the time to provide an update on the refurbishment. This update was filmed in September and things have already moved on at pace, but we hope it will give you an idea of the extent of the work completed so far, and the fantastic new facilities to come.
We will bring you more updates as the building progresses, and look forward to extending a warm Benedictine welcome to you all to Alban Roe House next spring.
