'A Run through Laudato Si’ The Introduction' by Fr Christopher

Since COP 26 has happened and people have either responded or not to the Climate Change Crisis, Fr Christopher looks again at Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ Encyclical Letter, written in 2015, to guide us in listening to his insights and responding to the crisis in an appropriate manner, according to our depth of faith, our ages and our energy.
'A Week in the Life of a Homily' by Fr Bede
Saturday 12th February 11am
Join Fr Bede as he offers an insight into the prayer thought, work and inspiration in breaking the Word & 'baking' a Homily, using his Homily for the following Sunday as an example.
The Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelisation published 23rd January 2022 includes six evocative questions which challenge each of us when we read savour digest & incarnate the Word of God:
- what part of the passage struck me most & why?
- which person in the biblical story do I identify with ?
- what behaviour or situation caught my attention?
- did I experience any emotions during the reading? Which ones & when?
- how does this passage relate to my life?
- do I feel inspired by the words I have heard?
As preparation you may want to look at Jeremiah 17;5-8, Corinthians 15;12.16-20 and Luke 6;17.20-26 to familiarise yourself with them in relation to the six questions above or you might just want to tune in on the morning & hear how Fr Bede breaks & bakes!
'Forgiveness' by Fr Edward

'Beginning Lent' by Br Edmund

Join us for this Home Retreat in which Br Edmund offers some thoughts on emptying ourselves in order to receive through the period of Lent.
Each Home Retreat consists of a 10-15 minute reflection, and concludes with a series of suggestions for activities and further reflection throughout the day.
