Whether you are a seasoned retreatant, or this is your first visit, we are honoured you are choosing to spend your time with us.
You are welcome at Ampleforth Abbey throughout the year, although there are certain times when availability may be limited.
We will always do our utmost to accommodate any last-minute requests, whether for individual or on our booked retreats.
Ampleforth Abbey is located within a beautiful valley, and our retreat buildings are located at different points within the site.
Thanks to recent renovation work, we are now able to offer fully accessible accommodation, and the main retreat areas and buildings are step-free.
As meals are served in the main building next to the Abbey church, there will be some movement around the site required. From our retreat accommodation, there is a sloped drive that provides access to the main building. This is well-lit, and does have steps for those who are able.
If you are concerned about mobility around the site, please don’t hesitate to contact our Hospitality team on firstname.lastname@example.org who will be happy to advise.
For additional needs, every modification can be made to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
