Whole School Outing for May Day

To enhance the children's learning of British Values, the whole school went on a visit to the Ryedale Folk Museum.    Amongst other things Ryedale Folk Museum has a number of historic and reconstructed buildings, some of which have been saved from demolition and rebuilt by volunteers at the museum and others which have been built to show different periods of history.

The children took part in workshops learning to may pole dance, weave corn dollies, construct a model cruck type roof and found the answers to a quiz about objects and buildings in the museum.

Thank you to all the staff and volunteers at the museum for making it such a memorable day.
