Year 8’s have been wholeheartedly throwing themselves into directing and producing a scene from ‘The Tempest’.

This included creating stage sets, designing costumes, considering their makeup and how the scene ought to be performed. The winners were Esther, Stephen and Katie for spending time thoughtfully considering how to ensure each individual character was truly seen on stage. They thought about Shakespeare’s words and what it meant for how the audience should feel toward the character on stage. They have been wonderfully creative, engaged in every activity and a real credit to SMA!
