World Book Day

The pupils of St Martin's Ampleforth celebrated World Book Day this year by having a 'Holes' themed lunch.   Year 7 studied Holes by Louis Sachar last term and our catering team did a fantastic job with lunch.  There were beefburgers with holes, onion rings, bagels, spaghetti hoops and for pudding, doughnuts complete with a jelly baby to represent a child digging a hole.   The Great Chamber had been decorated along the Holes theme too, complete with a giant spade.
