Welcome from the Head of School, Dr David Moses

St Martin's Ampleforth is the prep school for Ampleforth College. 

We are a Benedictine, Catholic independent co-educational day and boarding school for children aged 11 to 13.  Our main purpose is to ensure each child entrusted in our care leaves with a strong moral compass for life; a confident ability to share their ideas and learn from mistakes; an enjoyment in living in a boarding community where learning is at the heart of daily lives; an enthusiastic appetite for participation across the curriculum and an unaffected modesty of manner.
