Sited separately and run independently from the College at the beautiful Gilling Castle, St Martin’s Ampleforth enjoys the best of both worlds: a small school tailor-made for 11-13 year olds, with access whenever it is needed to world class teaching and facilities at Ampleforth College, just a short distance across the valley.
St Martin’s Ampleforth embraces the Benedictine ethos of Ampleforth College, inviting the children to participate in community life whilst every individual talent is discovered and nurtured, whatever that might be.
Dr David Moses is the Head of the school and with his wife Clare, they have created a home from home for the boarders and day children, and strike a happy balance between academic success, a full programme of activities and sport, as well as plenty of time to have fun and relax.
We would love you to come and visit our school and answer any questions you have. If you would like to find out more, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01439 766863.
