Twelve Year 10 students have been participating in the Erasmus+ programme, which offers the opportunity for school students to engage in a cultural exchange between European countries and to develop collaborative academic projects across the curriculum.

As part of this programme, Ampleforth College students have been researching aspects of the Industrial Revolution, working with two other schools with a similar ethos: Egbert-Gymnasium Münsterschwarzach in Germany, and Glenstal Abbey in Co. Limerick, Ireland. Last week, Ampleforth hosted the schools, brought together for the fourth and final time, to conclude their group work and present it to an audience. Many skills have been developed, lessons learned and friendships formed; students have enjoyed an unforgettable experience.

If you would like to learn more about the wonderful opportunities available to our students here at Ampleforth College, why not come along to our next Open Morning on Saturday 7th March? Please click here to book your place.
