Ceri Dent
BSc (Wales), PGCE (IOE, London)
Head of Geography

Ceri graduated with a BSc in Geography from Swansea University, where she specialised in the ‘Reconstruction of Quaternary Environments’ and worked on research expeditions in Norway. Ceri completed her PGCE at the Institute of Education, University College London and spent the first five years of her teaching career in York, before joining Ampleforth College as Head of Geography in 2008. In addition, Ceri is an A level Geography examiner for Edexcel. She is also Assistant Housemistress of St Bede’s House and is part of the team delivering the Duke of Edinburgh Award at Ampleforth College.

    Geography Teacher

    Adrian is the Deputy Head of Boarding and Designated Safeguarding Lead for the school. He has a BSc in Geography from the University of Surrey as well as a PGCE. 

  • Hannah Graham
    BSc (Edinburgh) MEd with QTS (Durham)
    Geography Teacher

    Hannah has a Geography BSc from Edinburgh University and an MEd with QTS from Durham University. She taught in London at the Grey Coat Hospital in Westminster for 4 years and a year in Bradford before arriving at Ampleforth. Hannah is the Assistant Head of Middle School and a tutor in St Margaret's.
