- Victoria AnglimBEng (Coventry), PGCE (Loughborough)Assistant Head of Design & Technology
After completing her degree in Manufacturing Engineering with Business and German, Victoria gained her PGCE and began her teaching profession in Suffolk. She was head of a D&T department for 7 years, held a regional role for transition, examined for OCR and held a position on the Education Committee of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining. Victoria joined Ampleforth in 2004 and is Housemistress of St Bede's House, Assistant Head of Boarding and Assistant Child Protection Officer. She enjoys baking, making jewellery and designing wedding cakes.

Jonathan completed a degree in Aeronautical Engineering at Loughborough and then went on to study his PGCE before joining Ampleforth in 2016. He enjoys model making, Radio-Controlled aeroplanes and run’s one of the Land Rover Restoration Activities. He has been a member of the CCF RAF staff team for a year, is a Year 10 Tutor in St Thomas’ House and is the Pastoral Assistant.

Luke attained his first degree in Sports Science followed by a PGCE in Outdoor Education and Biology. Prior to coming to Ampleforth in 2011 Luke had a varied career including teaching outdoor education, designing and building climbing walls and working as an illustrator for a climbing equipment manufacturer. He enjoys making furniture, toys and sporting equipment and is an outdoor pursuits enthusiast.
- Charlie HartBSc Hons (Exeter) PGCE (Open University), CiLCADesign and Technology Instructor/Technician
Charlie completed his degree in Biological Sciences at Exeter University. He first came to Ampleforth in 1993 where he completed a PGCE in Secondary Science whilst working as a teacher and technician in the College’s Biology Department. He went on to spend 15 years teaching both Science and ICT in independent schools in the North East. In 2011, keen to help those in poverty in his own community, he left teaching to establish a Christian Debt Advice Charity which he led for a number of years. More recently he has trained and worked as a Local Government Officer serving his own town of Bedale. Charlie is married and has six children. His interests include: DIY, VW’s, gardens and making and running model steam engines.
