Stability: Letting what you love shape your life

with Fr Kevin Hayden OSB

Monks take a vow of stability, recognising that it is an essential part of the art of giving yourself effectively to life and of allowing life to give itself fully to you. Stability is about discovering what you feel most deeply called to live, what is for you most true, and being faithful to it, allowing it time to unfold and reveal itself ever more fully to you, so that with ever increasing conviction you can say: “It is good to be here.”

This retreat begins with a welcome and introduction at 5pm Friday and ends on Sunday with a final reflection and farewell at 12:00pm, followed by Little Hour (Live Streamed) at 1pm.

If you are interested you are invited to either contact Yvonne, our bookings secretary, by telephone at 01439 766486 on Tuesday and Friday mornings between 9am and 1pm, or by email at pastoral@ampleforth.org.uk.

There will be a suggested donation for each retreat that reflects the cost to us to make the retreat available.

The retreats will be brought to you via Zoom and, in good time before the retreat is due to start, you will be sent a Zoom invitation along with instructions. We continue to offer our usual Home Retreats each Saturday at 11am. Details of this and of our Home Prayer and live streaming can be found on our Together in Prayer page.
