This liqueur decanter and two squared shot glasses are all engraved with the Ampleforth coat-of-arms, with the Abbot's permission. The decanter holds approximately 175ml, just enough for our cider brandy or liqueur gins if you take out a tot for yourself first! The set is offered in a presentation box lined with satin-effect fabric.

Tapestry cushion cover with crest

This is a handmade tapestry fronted cushion,18" x 18" (46cm x 46cm). It is fully finished, backed in deep red velvet, trimmed with twisted cord. It makes a quality memento, and a highly acceptable gift. The Ampleforth shield shows the ancient coat-of-arms of Westminster Abbey, our historic home. Above the blue wavy line representing the River Thames are the crossed keys of St Peter, the patron of Westminster Abbey, and the cross and marlets of St King Edward the Confessor who rebuilt and endowed it. It has a zip opening at back, for a filler pad (not supplied). Sorry, TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK.

These braces perfectly match the Bicentenary Old Amplefordian tie, and stylishly complement the Classic (silver background) OA tie. They are complete with both clip and button fastenings; whichever is not needed can be easily detached. Cufflinks with motto

These enamel cufflinks show the shield and motto of Ampleforth College. The motto, Dieu le Ward (God guard it) derives from the town in Lorraine where the monastic community lived in exile for 200 years, Dieulouard. There are two fittings, a swivelling cross-bar or a chain-linked oval, enamelled with the red and black of Ampleforth.

These sterling silver cufflinks were commissioned by us from Camusso in Peru. Each pair of shields shows the Ampleforth crest on one side and the Gridiron symbol of St Laurence on the other. They are die cut for extra clarity of image. The lower surface of the relief is stippled so that it will not need polishing.The chain and shank between the shields is designed to keep the faces vertical in the cuff.

The design of the Old Amplefordian tie was re-worked with T. M. Lewin of Jermyn Street. This version has black as the background colour, but preserving the gunmetal grey, the red and the black of our traditional colours. This is suitable for formal wear. It is made from pure silk reppe.

This tie carries the gridiron symbol. The patron saint of Ampleforth Abbey is St Laurence who was martyred by being roasted on a gridiron in the 3rd century.

Until 2010 it was only unavailable in "silk polyester" but now we stock it in pure silk. If you know somone who likes to wear the Gridiron, an upgrade would undoubtedly be a very welcome gift!

This is a tie for the friends of Ampleforth. Its design matches the style of the new OA tie we introduced two years ago. It was designed in collaboration with T M Lewin of Jermyn Street. It is hand-made in pure English woven silk repp.

Beagling tie

Although the Ampleforth College Beagles were disbanded in the mid-nineties, they were acquired in their entirety by some OAs and local supporters and re-kennelled locally. Many generations of Old Amplefordians ran with these hounds when they were used for hunting hares. This is the tie that celebrates those memories. It is pure silk.
